Pressure sensitive liners and induction seals

Mar 13th, 2009 | By | Category: Did You Know?
Pressure sensitive liners are not reccommended for liquid products.

Induction seals provide leak prevention not possible with pressure sensitive liners.

Many companies compare the economic and packaging benefits of pressure sensitive liners and induction seals. Pressure sensitive liners are less expensive, but they do not provide any of the benefits that induction seals provide.

Pressure sensitive liners do not provide tamper evidence, can not be used with liquid products and have no moisture or oxygen barrier properties.

Recently cap manufacturs have been advising companies to forego pressure sensitive liners in lieu of induction seals.
